After a whirlwind year, 2009 comes to a close. For most of us, 2009 has been a groundbreaking season for Itanium Solutions. We had a record-breaking submission of new members entries, which sprouted several highly active participating members with enhanced enthusiasm in the field of computing and technology. As we did before with the late Elecom Club, Itanium Solutions in 2009 yet again provided a medium for the students of CHS to cultivate their interest in computers and computing skills.

2009 was largely groundbreaking and successful due to the multiple events organised by our club.  These events not only publicised the club, but also the correct use and implementation of computing technology.

Henceforth, after reflecting upon 2009, welcome to the new year of 2010! 2010 is the start of a decade, and also promises a ton of action in Itanium Solutions. Here's a list of what's to come in the another year for Itanium Solutions.

- Intel Manufacturing Plant Visit (April, unconfirmed)

- PC Fair outings (April, July and December)

- IT Week 2010 (May)

- CHS Cyber Games 2010 (October)

Other events have not been decided yet, but it will be decided upon soon to keep our members updated and interested. Also, we will have new T-Shirt and Logo designs in 2010, which are all still in prototypes. By the beginning of 2010 we will have them finalised and printed for all members. Something new, we might plan a visit to factory, most likely the Intel Manufacturing Plant somewhere in April. It is still unconfirmed, but it will be decided upon the first couple of meetings in 2010.

2010 will also be the year where all the seniors are in their final year in CHS. Yeah, that's it, all your ambitious leaders will be in Form 5 and will leave the school the following year. It is high time for the juniors to learn from the seniors their experiences and knowledge and pick up where they left off. Hopefully, Itanium Solutions will continue our reign as CHS' premiere computing club.

Right then, now to serious matters. We will have a meeting on the first Friday on 2010 (8th January 2010) to discuss the finalities regarding Gerko Day preparations and the new T-Shirt designs; yet again at the Computer Lab of Block C. This meeting is vital to ensure a smooth proceeding before the new batch of members come in.

Lastly, Happy 2010 to all Itanium Solutions members and enjoy your last few days of holidays before school starts!
